10:55 Keynote Speech Mr Byron Davies Hear the Interview on BBC Radio Surrey “James Cannon” programme on 10th March. It is a 3-hr audio but if you jump to 1:38:05 that is the start if the interview, it continues to about 1:42:20
Mr Davies is the first ‘General Aviation Champion’ appointed by the Ministry of Transport,.
Previously he served as a founding member and first chairman of the GA All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) of MPs. (The APPG now numbers over 130 MPs). In his address he will highlight the need of a sustainable pipeline for the next generation of aviation professionals.
His remit is to safeguard a network of GA Airfields and he worked earlier in life with the Air Cadets. Indeed one of his former cadets is currently leader of the Red Arrows).
