9th Annual Education Conference

9th Annual Aviation Education Conference

Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 0QN

       Saturday 12th March 2016 10:00 – 16:00.

The 9th Annual Aviation Education Conference took place at
the historic venue of Brooklands Museum on March 12th, this was a little earlier than in previous years and I’m sorry if it caught a few people out.

Our sponsors this year were:
Aviation Skills Partnership, Haywards Insurance Brokers,
P&A Wood for Rolls Royce & Bentley motor cars,
The British Model Flying Association,
The Light Aircraft Association Education Trust.

It’s thanks to these sponsors we were able to keep costs to reasonable levels again this year, if you meet up with any of them in the future please comment and offer our thanks.

This year about 60 delegates and staff gathered to learn from each other
where they had come from and what their individual aims and objectives
might be. That part of the event is akin to fishing because you never
know who or what you will catch to make dreams come true.

The days agenda was filled with quick fire presentations in the morning
and “Breakout” sessions in the afternoon.

The following made presentations.

It would be unreasonable to highlight one particular presentation, however, from the feedback I have received, the younger presenters blew everybody away with their ambitious and mature outlooks.

Brooklands is a great place to meet and the facilities and lunch they provided were superb.  For that reason we are suggesting that the 10th Anniversary event will take place there on Sat March 25th 2017 so pencil that “in the diary” now.

If you wish to attend, or make a presentation or sponsor the event
please make contact us ASAP to express your interest.
