We are “Feet off the Ground”, an Aviation Based Charity

We team up with Organisations, Airfields and other Charities using our member’s aeronautical skills and knowledge to bring about life changing opportunities.

The following quote from our constitution sums up our aims in a few words:

“To work with other organisations which address the personal developmental needs of young and/or disadvantaged persons, broadening their experiences and horizons by providing experience of light aviation.”

Our team have worked with The Douglas Bader Foundation (Bader Braves), CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids), Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), Cornwall Accessible Activities Programme (CAAP),The Scout Association, the Air Training Corps, the Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes, local Schools and Colleges.

We offer a range of activities, including school airfield visits. A sample itinerary from one of our airfield visits in 2019 can be found below:
