Additional Notes of interest
Parents & Youngsters
Go to your local airfield or if you know a pilot speak with them.
Ask the local pilot, Flying School or Gliding Club or BMAA member or Flight Training Organisation for a flight for your youngster/s, as part of the YES 2024 challenge.
However please note that you will not just be able to rock up and demand a free flight, you may very well have to take an “Introduction” or “Taster Flight” but it could very well lead to much, much more.
Enjoy the flight, and who knows, you too may be bitten by the flying bug!!!.
Remember the TARGET is to fly at least 2,024 Young Aviators making the year 2024 the Big One for the UK.
We can guarantee that once you have experienced the joy of introducing young adults to the world of aviation you and they will never look back. It is simply a life changing experience to be able to pass on your skills, enthusiasm and experience to ‘tomorrow’s adults.’
